High Wire
To see a long high-wire crossing or a “grande traverse”, as its known in French, is not an everyday occurrence for most of us. The tradition of the Funambulist putting his or her skills to the test on ever higher and longer ropes or wires has been an area of the art form dating back to medieval times. To coin a phrase, one might say “the sky’s the limit!”. This amazing high wire act specialises in long crossings over rivers, lakes and between buildings for an exhilarating spectacle. Or it can be tailored for specific events or arenas with a bespoke 40 minute show that has been designed above a net with tricks performed on a wire 8 metres from the ground.
