High Strung Movie

Sammi Lee Jayne form AJK Dance Agency battled her way through the audition rounds to feature in High Strung, a new dance movie.

World renowned choreographer Dave Scott (“Step Up,” “Stomp the Yard,” “So You Think You Can Dance”) is choreographing the routines for this ballet meets hip hop tale of a struggling British musician in New York and the talented American ballerina he meets who changes his world.

Sammi trained in professional Musical Theatre and Dance at the Urdang Academy, London. Since graduating, Sammi has performed professionally with the following credits under her belt: Zoonation’s ‘Some Like it Hip Hop’ West End as lead role Kerri Kimbalayo and cover JoJo Jameson, Dance Captain/Dancer in Thriller Live West End and European tour, Jessie J, Alexandra Burke, Sean Paul, Sonique, Macy Grey, Lola Rae, Children in Need and Jingle Bell Ball. As well as dancing, Sammi has modelled/ danced for Diesel Jeans, Clinique and Boohoo as well as performing in numerous fashion and hair shows. Sammi has also recently started touring with Rita Ora, performing at Radio 1’s big weekend.
