The Wizard of Oz

Choreographer Alex Kordek was asked by Arlene Phillips to train Danielle Hope for one of the numbers in the new hit musical “The Wizard of Oz” at the London Palladium. Alex taught Danielle Popping so she could use these skills and adapt them for a possible “Jitterbug” number in the musical.

Danielle captured our hearts after winning the BBC’s smash hit show “Over The Rainbow” featuring Andrew Lloyd Webber, where she won the ruby slippers against 9000 contestants. It was such a pleasure for Alex to work with Danielle, she was a true professional- extremely adaptable, taking everything in her stride.
